Vivekanand General Hospital
As “Women’s Hospital” was incepted in the year 1929 by Indian Women Aids Society Hubli dedicated for maternity Services only . The hospital was then managed by late Dr. Mahajan & Dr. N S Hardikar
In the year 1995 “Vivekanand General Hospital trust,” a Charitable organization assumed the responsibility for operating the hospital under the Presidentship of Late Shri Natwarlal Shanghviji initiating a significant transformation in its management and overall governance.
Mr Natwarlal Sanghviji dedicated leadership and commitment have been instrumental in strengthening the hospital reputation and driving it’s continual progress with his active involvement until his passing on 7th December 2013.
The Vivekanand General Hospital is now managed by Board of Trustees, well-known reputed personalities of Hubli city having inclination to serve the community. They are known for their honorary service for the institute.
Vivekanand General Hospital located in the heart of the city is key contributor to the city’s medical excellence. With glorious history of 97 years, it’s a charitable multispecialty hospital managed by the board of trustees providing untiring and dedicated health care services.
